Aman is pleased to announce the appointment of David Silva as General Manager of Amangani in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. David joins the brand with almost 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having started his career in food and beverage, an area in which he remains passionate.
David has worked for prestigious hotel brands across the US, beginning his hospitality career in 2004 with Marriott, and going on to work in management roles at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta, The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas and Fairmont San Francisco. Having gained an in-depth understanding of the industry, prior to joining Aman, David held positions as Hotel Manager at Pendry Park City and St. Regis Deer Valley, Utah, where he managed both hotel and residences operations – building a strong rapport with both guests and owners.
As General Manager of Amangani, David will oversee the daily running of the property, and his leadership will ensure that Amangani continues to exceed the high service standards and further enhance the exceptional guest experience for which the resort is known.

David replaces the outgoing General Manager, Stuart Lang, who is retiring from his role after two decades with Aman having first joined the brand in 2003 as National Sales Manager. Stuart was instrumental in Amangani’s success to date and has welcomed many returning guests over the years, as well as championing local talent.
