Florida luxury rental home manager DesignedVR has handed over day-to-day operations of its 100-strong portfolio in South Florida to expert management firm Casiola Vacation Homes.

DesignedVR’s properties will merge into the Casiola portfolio, expanding Casiola’s presence in Southeast Florida and the Tampa Bay area, along with the surrounding territories. This strategic move strengthens their existing footprint in Miami, Orlando, and Clearwater, while opening new opportunities from Sunny Isles Beach to West Palm Beach and across the Tampa region.
DesignedVR’s founder Shahar Goldboim, who is also the co-founder and CEO of Boom – the world’s first AI Property Management System (AiPMS) for vacation rentals – has stepped back from the PMC to focus on the rapid growth of the tech firm. The decision to transition operations to Casiola was made to ensure DesignedVR’s continued success under experienced management.
While technology plays a critical role in effective property management, vacation rentals also depend on strong, service-focused teams. The Casiola team is recognized as one of the finest in the country when it comes to delivering excellent customer service.
Shahar Goldboim, CEO and Co-Founder of DesignedVR and Boom, said: “Vacation rentals is a people business, and Casiola’s team is full of committed, smart, and smiling people who are consistently working to make their guest experience better.
“I have no concerns about leaving the portfolio we’ve built at DesignedVR of unique, high-quality properties in the hands of the Casiola team so that I can focus fully on growing Boom and putting AI at the center of short-term rental operations.”
Dennis Goedheid, CEO and Founder of Casiola, commented: “DesignedVR has a phenomenal portfolio of truly unique properties in markets we haven’t reached until now.
“These properties are outstanding due to their location, their luxury finish, and amazing amenities like pickleball courts and boat docks, and we want to continue to offer the white-glove service that these guests are paying for.
“Where we started out in Orlando, properties are more uniform, but we are excited by the prospect of managing these unique homes in different towns, and expanding our business with this franchise.”
Casiola officially took over the day-to-day operations of DesignedVR on April 1.
