Sodexo is delighted to announce the appointment of Chef Jerson Fernandes as the new Director-Culinary Operations for the office food segment. Chef Jerson joins Sodexo from Accor Hotels, where he spent over five years as the Culinary Director and Alchemist for the India region hotels, based out of the iconic Novotel Mumbai Juhu beach hotel. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in transforming the culinary landscape with his innovative approach and exceptional talent.

Chef Jerson, started his career as a dish washer and grew to the ranks of a Culinary Director. He truly is widely regarded as one of India’s most decorated and celebrated chef. His illustrious career spanning over 17 years in top hotel brands across the globe is marked by numerous accolades and a relentless pursuit of excellence right from being a Guinness world record holder to being the only chef in the country to win the Oscar’s of hospitality –the Hotelier India awards and the BW hotelier awards, twice in a span of 3 years. He was awarded the best Executive chef of the country on 7 different occasions. His contributions have set new benchmarks for culinary excellence, elevating the standards of hospitality and dining.

From one French company to another, in his new role at Sodexo, Chef Jerson will lead the culinary team with the same passion and innovation that have defined his career. His key role would be on ensuring that Sodexo continues to delight its clients and customers with exceptional and bespoke culinary experiences. Pursuing new business culinary solutions and organic growth with our existing clientele will be one of his significant responsibilities.
