Qatar Tourism Achieves Four ISO Certifications for its World-Class Management Systems

Qatar Tourism (QT) has successfully attained four ISO certifications from Bureau Veritas International, Doha (W.L.L.), one of the world's leading certification bodies. The prestigious achievement is testament to QT's commitment to implementing world-class management systems adhering to the highest international standards.

Following an extensive assessment of QT’s management systems, Bureau Veritas awarded the tourism body with the following certifications:

  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (with UKAS accreditation)
  • ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (with UKAS accreditation)
  • ISO 27001:2015 Information Security Management System (with UKAS accreditation)
  • ISO 20121:2012 Events Sustainability Management System.

The ISO 27001:2015 certification emphasises QT’s commitment to data security and privacy, and the ISO 20121:2012 certification showcases its dedication to organising events that align with sustainable development.
